The shameless cover up of truth on the NBN ZTE deal and other corruption scandals under the Arroyo administration has moved the people to declare “Tama Na, Sobra Na, Kumilos Na!” (Enough is Enough! Act Now!) This was the cry of the Filipino people before God and the whole nation due to the myriads of scandals in the government. More than sixty thousand people from various sectors converged at the February 29, 2008 prayer rally at Ayala, Makati City. The inter-faith gathering was a living statement against the “morally bankrupt Arroyo administration.

Prayers and messages were offered by Archbishop Oscar Cruz, Bishop Deogracias IƱiguez, Bishop Teodoro Bacani, Mo. Mary John Mananzan, OSB of the Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines, among other leaders of faith-based and sectoral organizations.
